Today I watched a movie and they told me about tigers called swamp tigers. They really live in the swamp. The tigers are Bengal tigers. The movie took place in Bangladesh. The movie makers had to fly from America all the way there. They had to travel to the other hemisphere. The movie makers found they had to go to the Bay of Bengal. There at Bangladesh they found monkeys called macaque monkeys. They at sticks. Wanna know something else cool about the macaque monkeys? They call and when deer hear them call they run. The call is a sign that the tigers are coming. When I heard they ate sticks I was so surprised. They had to build some places for Mike to get tigers on camera. Some tigers came and they looked at the camera and knew it was there. The mother didn't run at it or attack. Mike was so surprised. After Mike did that, they heard a guy shoot a gun. They knew there were tiger poachers around. A tiger poacher is someone who kills tigers for their meat, their fur, or their claws. The crew had to leave. It started to rain and the next day they saw the tiger poacher stole some of their boards. The crew had to put a tent over their boards. He was catching some tigers on camera then he focused over to some warthogs. The tigers got away and the warthogs were eating the tigers food. When the tigers came back they finished the food.

Hello, it's been a while.....
Today I watched a show about a man called "Tiger Man of Africa". Watching him made me want to post on my blog again. His name was John Varty and he inspired me to get back to blogging about what I love most....tigers. I liked his show because there was a tiger named Julie and she had cute little babies. The cutest baby was Runty. I was sad because Runty died before it got the chance to grow up. Runty tried really hard to live, but just couldn't.
I was surprised about the Tiger Man of Africa because he is doing exactly what I want to do. Someday I want to go to Africa and save the animals. John Varty is saving the tigers. I haven't been to Africa, but I think it is my favorite place. I sure would like the chance to find out.
I wrote Mr. Varty a letter. Here is my letter and the picture I drew for him. My mom and I will try to find out where to send it.

Dolphins
Dolphins are not my favorite animal in the ocean, that is an octopus, but I am just doing this for fun because I think you would really like it. I have some books about dolphins. I'd like to tell you about the things I learned in the books. Dolphins are small whales. Whales are mammals. All mammals need to breath. They use to catch dolphins in tuna nets. Now they try to use ways to catch tuna that do not hurt dolphins. Dolphins are still in danger from the trash people throw in the ocean. People also endangered the dolphins from taking the food away from the dolphins by fishing to much. To stop this, they asked the government to help them. They made laws that you cannot fish for dolphins, you cannot put trash in the ocean, and only a little bit of fishing sometimes. Here is a picture of a dolphin we saw in Florida. We saw dolphins and manatees.

How do you know if an elephant is angry or a deer is scared?
When a white tailed deer is scared it flicks its tail. When an elephant is scared it puts out its ears. If it is calm, it keeps its ears close to its side. These behaviors are important to know because when you are camping, if you see one of these creature and it is doing one of these behaviors, you know to run. Fast. I can tell you more about elephants. Elephants can run very fast for how big they are. You might be surprised that they can run 25 mph. and a human can only run around 10 for the average human.

Exploring The Forest On Bikes!
Last night I saw a white tailed deer. I thought it was cool. We were riding our bikes when we stopped and wanted to turn around to go back home. Then we saw a white tailed deer. It was eating its dinner. It eats grass and plants. White tailed deer are herbivores. In the summer they like to hang out in the meadow during dusk and dawn. Wouldn't you know it, we were there during dusk. We don't have a picture, but next time we won't leave without a camera.

Hi, my name is Cole!
I am five and three quarters. I am doing this blog for fun. My blog is about animals. I like animals. My favorite animal is a cheetah. I also really like tigers. Someday I am going to go school to be veterinarian. I will travel the world to help animals. I am most excited to go to Africa. In Africa I am going to save cheetahs and tigers. I will save them from being killed by people. If you read my blog, please leave me some information about your favorite animal. I like learning about all animals. I did a report about cheetahs for my kindergarten class. Here is a picture of me and my report.
I am now learning about elephants. Tomorrow I will tell you a little about what I have learned so far.
